Outdoor secondary containment storage systems are designed to keep the elements out while providing convenient access to drums. These all-polyethylene units feature a lockable, weather-resistant design that allows for secure outdoor storage of hazardous materials and wastes. Hinged covers can be easily opened by one person, making them ideal for satellite waste collection. The drums and collection sump remain clean and dry, free of rainwater, debris, and other contaminants, as the drums are positioned on a deck above the sump area, elevated from any spilled or leaked materials. A UV inhibitor in the polyethylene resin resists the degrading effects of sunlight, extending the outdoor service life of the units. Applications include storage of virgin chemicals, drum dispensing, hazardous waste collection, and the storage of spill response materials. These systems meet SPCC, EPA container storage regulation 40 CFR 264.175, and UFC spill containment regulations. Rugged steel lift brackets allow covers to be temporarily fixed in the open position, enhancing the safety and efficiency of waste decanting. The deck grates are removable for easy cleaning of the sump area, and the systems come with a 5-year limited warranty.
