The kit includes boots featuring an 11" height and a steel toe that complies with ASTM F2413-05 and CSA Z195 standards. Constructed as a one-piece injection molded design, the boots eliminate the risk of buttons or elastic bands breaking, facilitating easier decontamination. They are equipped with a large kick-off lug for simple removal and provide excellent slip resistance. The boots are wider across the gate to enable easy entry while wearing a chemical protective suit, with a new non-slip EZ Decon outsole that enhances decontamination and clean-up. They are designed for easier donning and doffing when in a chemical protective suit and include a steel shank and steel midsole for complete protection. Available in four sizes, the boots are certified by S.E.I. to meet the requirements of NFPA 1991, 2005 edition, which pertains to vapor-protective ensembles for hazardous materials emergencies.
