Large bore luers offer higher flow rates than standard luers and are certified laboratory tested by Eldon James. These luers have undergone testing for dimensional and performance requirements according to ISO 594-1 and 594-2 standards, which includes dimensional checks and assessments of the security of the assembled fittings for leakage under pressure and vacuum conditions, with test results available upon request. They are made from non-animal derived materials, including TPE, CVU, PP, and NK, which have a proven track record in medical device, pharmaceutical, and bioprocess applications. Medical nylon, HDPE, and natural nylon are not classified as USP Class VI materials but are commonly utilized when USP Class VI compliance is not essential. TPE and CrystalVu™ materials, categorized in the biomedical section, are USP Class VI materials. Additionally, these products are RoHS compliant.
