The Irwin® 36" cast iron pipe wrench (model 274107) is constructed from the highest grade cast iron that is forged and heat-treated to ensure maximum durability. It features a unique hammer head design that provides a flat surface for hammering and an easy-spin adjusting nut that is also heat-treated for added durability. The wrench has a wide I-beam handle design that allows for better weight distribution, while the drop-forged jaw is heat-treated to resist distortion or breakage. Additionally, the hardened teeth provide tremendous bite, and the housing is constructed of heavy-duty cast iron.
