This fire extinguisher is designed to be filled with water and compressed air, and it is shipped empty. It features a 14 gauge galvanized steel construction, a 12" high curb, and a 3-5/8" wide flange for secure attachment to the roof deck. The cover includes a 14 gauge aluminum exterior, while the interior is lined with 22 gauge aluminum and equipped with a TPE draft seal gasket door seal. Insulation consists of 1" fiberboard surrounding the base, and 1" mineral wool placed between the exterior cover and liner. The unit is equipped with a heavy-duty hinge and a heavy gauge automatic hold open arm, as well as two compression spring-operated cylinders. The railing is constructed from 1-5/8" galvanized steel with zinc-plated caps, and the guard comprises a zinc-plated ASTM chain.
