The heavy-duty cast iron construction of this sump pump kit ensures strength and durability, designed for reliable operation. It features options for wide angle automatic on/off switches, which require an 18" minimum diameter wide sump basin, or vertical switches suitable for sumps less than 11" in diameter. The pump incorporates a continuous duty, efficient 115V PSC (permanent split capacitor) motor that promotes a lower carbon footprint by utilizing less energy during operation. The ECD30/33/50 models come with an 8-foot power cord, while the ECD75 includes a 10-foot power cord. Designed for submersible operation, the pump operates quietly, with a discharge size of 1-1/2" FNPT (the ECD75 features a 2" FNPT discharge and includes a 2" MNPT x 1-1/2" FNPT adapter). The non-clogging vortex thermoplastic impeller is capable of passing 1/2" solids, making it highly efficient for drainage tasks.
