DocuGard medical security paper is tamper-resistant and features a premier, watermarked design, measuring 11"L x 8.5"W, with 500 sheets per package in blue. This specialized paper is designed to prevent unauthorized copies and safeguard confidential documents, making it ideal for use with prescription pads, MRIs, CAT scans, and medical tests. It incorporates ten security features to prevent copying, erasure, and counterfeiting, including a pantograph that prints "void" on the front when duplicated, printed watermarks visible when held up to a light source, and coin-reactive ink on the backside that changes color when scratched with a coin. The microtext borders contain the DocuGard product name and are difficult to replicate, while the erasure-resistant background, chemical-reactive paper, and toner grip coating on both sides avoid erasure. Additionally, heat-sensitive thermochromatic ink with an RX symbol disappears under touch or heat from a copier, and invisible fibers embedded in the paper are detectable under black light. This paper also exceeds federal guidelines set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to reduce the risk of fraud.
