The Edwards Signaling ANS50AMD2 is a 50-watt audio notification expander module featuring a digital message repeater (DMR) and a microphone. Designed to meet the emergency voice alarm requirements of NFPA 72, this high-performance audio notification system is UL listed for fire alarm applications. The ANS series includes an amplifier, tone generator, and supervisory interface, with available models in 25, 50, or 70 watts. It offers robust field-configurable features and is compatible with a range of accessory equipment for application flexibility, making it suitable for both new and retrofit installations. The ANS50AMD2 includes a clean dead-front construction, integrated digital message repeater with a four-minute message capacity, and can be field-selectable for either 25 or 70 VRMS speakers. It is powered by a 120 VAC supply with an included battery charger, and features a paging microphone that can override messages and tones. The system ensures high reliability and low maintenance with full supervision and easy installation, operation, and configuration.
