The Morse® Verti-Kcarrier Below-Hook 55 Gallon Drum Lifter is designed to lift drums with a capacity of up to 1,000 lbs. (454 kg) by gripping under the top rim of a 55 gallon (208 liter) steel drum. To use, attach the Verti-Kcarrier drum grab to your hoist or crane, lower it onto the drum's top, and as the drum grab is elevated, it automatically grips the drum. Once the drum is lowered, the drum grab carriage drops down, securely locking in the open position to release the load, allowing for easy movement and placement of the drum. The drum lifter features three adjustable settings to accommodate different drum diameters: the top hole grips a 22-1/16" (56 cm) diameter drum, the middle hole grips a 22-3/16" (56.4 cm) diameter drum, and the bottom hole grips a 22-7/16" (57 cm) diameter drum. Each unit is factory load tested at 125% of its rated capacity in compliance with American National Standard ASME B30.20, and a load test certificate is included with each unit. It is important to note that the Verti-Kcarrier drum lifters are not suitable for use with drums that do not have a lid or top in place. This product is made in the USA and comes with a 2-year warranty.
