The design allows chip loads to be spread over a greater number of cutting edges, which necessitates a reduction in standard drill speed by 25% while doubling the feed rate. The kit includes normal spiral - helical flutes and standard shanks that correspond to the drill diameter. Additionally, normal length drills have flutes that are proportional to their length.
