The 3M™ 4008 double sided foam tape measures 1/2" x 36 yards and is 1/8" thick in white color. It is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. The tape is made from premium grade 1/8" open cell polyurethane foam with a firm acrylic adhesive, providing high bond strength, high temperature, and solvent resistance. It is conformable foam with high shear strength, making it suitable for many indoor applications or exterior applications where the tape will be protected from the environment. The ideal temperature range for this tape is between 70° and 100° F.
