Leveling feet are simple, economically priced components designed to provide stability and support for machinery. The load values provided assume a straight compressive load, applied perpendicularly to the foot. In practical applications, bending and buckling stress factors can reduce the load rating of the stud and must be taken into account for accurate performance. To determine the proper leveling mount size, it is recommended to divide the machine weight by the number of feet required, resulting in the load per leveling foot in pounds.
