For installation, it is important to note that the coupling nut is not recommended; instead, use a nut on a tapped hole of 1 - 1 1/2 times the thread diameter being used. To ensure proper leveling mount size, divide the machine weight by the number of mounts required, which will equal the pounds or load per mount. The maximum load ratings for leveling mounts with an elastomer pad are calculated based on a 40% distortion of the elastomer pad, ensuring the proper application requirements when using the bore with the non-skid elastomer pad. For certain minimum quantities, modifications such as lag bolt holes and other versions of plating are available upon request. The heat resistance for Delrin base mounts includes a continuous operating temperature of 82°C (180°F) and a melting point of 175°C (347°F).
