The shelving units are constructed from 18, 20, or 22 gauge steel featuring a full welded box formation at both the front and back, with formed channels on each end for enhanced stability. Each of the four corners is lapped and welded to ensure additional strength. The box formation is welded with a minimum spacing of 6 inches on center to maintain structural integrity along the entire length of the box. With a box profile height of 1-1/4 inches, all box shelves are designed to support either clip or nut & bolt connections to the upright, and they include perforations for dividers spaced at 1-inch intervals. Boxer™ shelves are fully compatible with all existing Tri-Boro shelving components.
