The Tri-Boro Klip-It add-on unit is designed to maximize storage when combined with a Tri-Boro Klip-It starter unit, providing rugged and dependable steel shelving for heavy-duty storage solutions. The shelving features clip-type assembly for time-saving setup, with offset angle posts that support heavy loads and accommodate compression clips. The sturdy formed shelves are made from cold rolled steel with "triple bends" on all four sides to enhance strength. The shelving has a rust-resistant phosphatized cleaning for improved paint adhesion and durability, finished with a baked-on gray enamel. Compression clips snap rapidly into the posts allowing independent shelf adjustment while normal shelf loading increases the locking action. Closed shelving units include back and end panels for added stability. Starter units come with two sway braces, whereas add-on units include one sway brace. This add-on unit is not designed to be used as a standalone shelving unit.
