The kit and package include cold rolled steel formed shelves with "triple bends" on all four sides for added strength, offset angle posts that support heavy loads and accommodate compression clips, and compression clips that rapidly snap into posts allowing independent shelf adjustment and increasing locking action with normal shelf loading. The shelving features a rust-resistant phosphatized cleaning treatment for better paint adhesion and durability, finished with a baked-on gray enamel. Closed units include back and end panels for added stability, starter units come with two sway braces, and add-on units include one sway brace.
