The kit includes a sturdy formed shelf made from cold rolled steel with "triple bends" on all four sides for incomparable strength, along with a rust-resistant phosphatized coating that ensures better paint adhesion and durability. The baked-on gray enamel finish enhances the unit's longevity. The clip-type assembly saves time, and the offset angle post supports heavy loads while accommodating compression clips that allow for independent adjustment of shelves. Normal shelf loading increases the locking action of the compression clips. The closed units feature back and end panels, and starter units include 2 sway braces while add-on units include 1 sway brace. Note: This add-on unit cannot be used as a standalone shelving unit.
