These rugged and dependable Klip-it™ steel shelving units are designed for heavy-duty storage solutions, featuring a clip-type assembly that saves time. The offset angle post provides support for heavy loads and accommodates compression clips, while the sturdy formed shelf is made from cold rolled steel with "triple bends" on all four sides for exceptional strength. The shelves have a rust-resistant phosphatized coating for better paint adhesion and durability, finished with a baked-on gray enamel. The compression clip rapidly snaps into the post, allowing for independent adjustment of shelves, with normal shelf loading increasing the locking action. Closed units come equipped with back and end panels, and starter units include 2 sway braces, whereas add-on units include 1 sway brace. Note that this add-on unit cannot be used as a standalone shelving unit.
