The clip-type assembly saves time, while the offset angle post supports heavy loads and accommodates compression clips. The sturdy formed shelf is made from cold rolled steel and features "triple bends" on all four sides for unparalleled strength. It includes a rust-resistant phosphatized coating for improved paint adhesion and durability, finished with a baked-on gray enamel. The compression clip rapidly snaps into the post, allowing for independent shelf adjustment; normal shelf loading enhances the locking action. Closed units come with back and end panels, with starter units including 2 sway braces and add-on units including 1 sway brace. Note that this add-on unit cannot be used as a standalone shelving unit.
