The kit includes precut plastic tabs that come with inserts, allowing them to be typed, handwritten, or laser printed. Users can feed 4" x 10" sheets through the envelope feeder of a printer, after which individual tabs can be easily separated. The adhesive used is permanent, ensuring durability. Avery also provides a variety of easy-to-use templates compatible with Microsoft Word and other popular software programs. Each index tab features a 1/3" tab extension.
