The Ridgid® K-50 sectional machine with cable kit is a compact, versatile professional-grade tool featuring a 1/6 hp motor that operates at 400 rpm. It includes 7-1/2' long x 5/8" wide cables and is designed for use with three different cable sizes: 5/16", 3/8", and 5/8". This machine is ideal for clearing sink, shower, and floor drain lines, weighing less than 40 lbs. The unique, easy-to-use instant-acting cable clutch enhances operator control by allowing the cable to spin at 400 rpm when the pull handle is engaged, stopping instantly when released. It utilizes sections of 5/8" cable to clean drain lines ranging from 1 1/4" to 4" up to 100 feet. The C-8 cable is best suited for 1 1/4" to 3" drains, while the C-9 is optimal for 2" to 4" drains. An A-17 adapter enables the machine to run up to 50 feet of 5/16" (15m/8mm) or 35 feet of 3/8" (11m/10mm) continuous length cable, with the 5/16" cable being effective for 3/4" to 1 1/2" lines and the 3/8" for 1 1/4" to 2" lines. The 115v models are CSA approved and comply with UL standards (NRTLC).
