Wash tanks are designed to simplify small parts cleaning, featuring a cover that opens wide for easy access and an integral parts basket that facilitates the rapid washing of multiple small parts. Both the tank and basket are constructed from durable 24-gauge coated steel. After the cleaning process, the basket can be positioned at the top of the tank to allow solvent to drain effectively. The cover includes a self-closing mechanism and a fusible link that melts at 165° F, ensuring the cover snaps shut in the event of a fire. For enhanced chemical resistance, wash tanks with polyethylene liners are available, allowing for compatibility with harsh and corrosive chemicals commonly used in laboratory and industrial settings. The liners are designed to be easy to clean or replace as needed, ensuring longevity and reliability in use.
