Justrite® 08204 Fill Vent with 6" Flame Arrester is designed to safely fill and store liquids in drums of flammable materials by providing essential venting to relieve pressure build-up and prevent vacuum formation. This device is crucial for avoiding container failure due to pressure fluctuations, which can be exacerbated by heat or sudden cooling. The fill vent, constructed from either cast brass or high-density polyethylene, features a 6" (152mm) flame arrester and is compatible with a 2" bung opening. Key characteristics include automatic pressure and vacuum relief systems and a safety cap with a chain to prevent loss.
