The Justrite® 08902 rigid brass safety drum faucet is designed for dispensing from horizontal drums and features a self-closing mechanism with an internal flame arrester to prevent flashback of fire into the drum. Each faucet is gasketed to eliminate leakage, and faucets intended for NPT bungs come with threaded spouts to accommodate hose extensions, enhancing dispensing accuracy and minimizing spills. This faucet is suitable for the trouble-free dispensing of viscous, noncorrosive flammables, including adhesives, paint, or heavy oils above 2000 SSU (approximately 30W oil), when used with Justrite's 2" gate valves and/or viscous liquids faucets, though flame arresters are not included with the latter. The product includes a limited warranty of 1 year.
