The Justrite® 08500 is a 3' flexible antistatic wire equipped with dual alligator clips featuring 5/8" jaws, designed to mitigate fire risks associated with static electricity. This antistatic wire effectively prevents sparks caused by static generated during the movement and flow of flammable liquids, ensuring safe bonding between containers during liquid transfer and connecting drums to an earth ground, as mandated by federal and local codes. The standard wire lengths available are 3' (1m) and 10' (3m), with options for longer reaches by using multiple wires with 1/4" (6mm) terminal ends. Custom length bonding and grounding assemblies in 3' (1m) lengths can also be purchased, along with individual clamps. The product is backed by a limited warranty of 1 year.
