The Justrite® 08587 6" L flexible faucet extensions are designed for use with stainless steel dispensing faucets on horizontal drums. These self-closing drum safety faucets feature an internal flame arrester that prevents flashback of fire into the drum, while all faucets are gasketed to prevent leakage. Most faucets for " NPT bung come with threading in the spout to accommodate a hose extension, enhancing dispensing accuracy and minimizing spills. The adjustable faucets screw tightly into the drum and can be set to a dispensing position with the spout facing downward, ensuring no thread damage or leakage occurs. Ideal for the trouble-free dispensing of viscous, noncorrosive flammables, such as adhesives, paint, or heavy oils above 2000 SSU (approximately 30W oil), Justrite® recommends using 2" gate valves and/or viscous liquids faucets, although flame arresters are not included on the viscous liquid faucets. The product includes a limited warranty of 1 year. Note: Use with Justrite® 08916.
