The Justrite® 08584 6" L flexible faucet extension is designed for brass dispensing faucets intended for horizontal drums. It incorporates an internal flame arrester that prevents flashback of fire into the drum, enhancing safety during dispensing. Each faucet is gasketed to prevent leakage, and faucets compatible with NPT bung feature threading in the spout to accommodate a hose extension, allowing for increased dispensing accuracy and spill prevention. The adjustable faucets can be securely screwed into the drum and set to a dispensing position, ensuring no thread damage or leakage occurs. These faucets are specifically suited for the trouble-free dispensing of viscous, noncorrosive flammables such as adhesives, paint, or heavy oils above 2000 SSU (approximately 30W oil) when used with Justrite®'s 2" gate valves and/or viscous liquids faucets, although flame arresters are not included with viscous liquid faucets. The product includes a limited warranty of 1 year and is noted for use with the Justrite® 08540.
