This safe storage cabinet is designed for paints and inks, specifically to separate and identify Class III combustibles in high-performance paint and ink safety storage. The wall-mount style features a shallow depth with multiple adjustable SpillSLOPE™ shelves spaced on 3" (77mm) centers to accommodate many smaller paint cans, aerosols, and inks commonly used in printing, painting, furniture, and automotive operations, holding over 100 aerosol cans. It is constructed of 18-gauge (1mm) welded steel with double-wall construction including a 1-1/2" (38mm) insulating air space for fire resistance, and finished in tough, chemical-resistant, baked-on, lead-free powder paint. The cabinet includes easy close, self-latching doors with a unique hidden closing mechanism that maximizes storage space and closes doors automatically on self-close styles, although this model has manual closing doors and fusible links that hold doors open and melt at 165°F (74°C) to shut doors under fire conditions. Security features include a three-point stainless steel bullet latch with double key set and a U-LOC™ padlockable handle. It contains a leaktight 2" (51mm) sump for spill containment and two 2" (51mm) vents with integral flame arresters. Trilingual HAZ-ALERT™ reflective labeling is provided, and leveling feet are included for balance on uneven surfaces. The cabinet comes with mounting hardware, is OSHA and NFPA compliant, FM approved, and is backed by Justrite's ten-year warranty.
