The paint and ink safety storage cabinet is designed for safe storage and identification of Class III combustibles in high-performance environments such as printing, painting, furniture, and automotive operations. It features double-wall construction with a 1-1/2" (38mm) insulating air space for fire resistance and is made of 18-gauge (1mm) welded steel finished in a chemical-resistant, baked-on, lead-free powder paint. The wall-mount style cabinet has a shallow depth and multiple adjustable SpillSlope™ shelves, which catch incidental drips and adjust on 3" (77mm) centers, accommodating many smaller paint cans, aerosols, and inks. The cabinet holds over 100 aerosol cans and includes mounting hardware, leveling feet for balance on uneven surfaces, and a leaktight 2" (51mm) sump to contain spills. It is equipped with easy-close, self-latching doors featuring a unique hidden closing mechanism that maximizes storage space and automatically closes doors on self-close styles, with fusible links that hold doors open and melt at 165°F (74°C) to shut doors under fire conditions. Security is ensured by a three-point stainless steel bullet latch with a double key set and a U-LOC™ padlockable handle. Two 2" (51mm) vents with integral flame arresters provide ventilation, and the cabinet has trilingual HAZ-ALERT™ reflective labeling. This OSHA and NFPA compliant cabinet is FM approved and backed by Justrite's ten-year warranty.
