The safety storage cabinet for paints and inks is designed to securely separate and identify Class III combustibles in high-performance paint and ink storage. It features multiple adjustable SpillSlope™ shelves that catch incidental drips and adjust on 3" (77mm) centers, accommodating smaller paint cans, aerosols, and inks commonly used in printing, painting, furniture, and automotive operations. This wall mount style cabinet has a shallow depth for organized storage of aerosol cans and small containers, holding over 100 aerosol cans and including mounting hardware. Constructed with double-wall construction featuring a 1-1/2" (38mm) insulating air space for fire resistance, the cabinet is made of 18-gauge (1mm) welded steel finished with chemical-resistant, baked-on, lead-free powder paint. It includes easy close, self-latching doors with a unique hidden closing mechanism that maximizes storage space and automatically closes doors on self-close styles. A three-point stainless steel bullet latch with a double key set ensures security, while a U-Loc™ padlockable handle provides additional protection. The cabinet has a leaktight 2" (51mm) sump to contain spills and includes two 2" (51mm) vents with integral flame arresters. Trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective labeling enhances visibility, and leveling feet are included for stability on uneven surfaces. Fusible links hold doors open but melt at 165°F (74°C) to close the doors automatically during fire conditions. This cabinet is OSHA and NFPA compliant, FM approved, and backed by Justrite's ten-year warranty.
