The Safe Storage Cabinet is designed for the secure storage and identification of Class III combustibles, specifically paints and inks, in high-performance safety applications. It features double-wall construction with a 1-1/2" (38mm) insulating air space for fire resistance, made from 18-gauge (1mm) welded steel finished with a tough, chemical-resistant, baked-on, lead-free powder paint. The cabinet includes easy-close, self-latching doors for maximum fire protection, secured by a three-point stainless steel bullet latch with a double key set. Adjustable SpillSlope™ shelves catch incidental drips and can be adjusted on 3" (77mm) centers to accommodate numerous smaller paint cans, aerosols, and inks commonly used in printing, painting, furniture, and automotive operations. It features a U-Loc™ padlockable handle, a leaktight 2" (51mm) sump to contain spills, and two 2" (51mm) vents equipped with integral flame arresters. Trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective labeling ensures proper identification, while leveling feet provide balance on uneven surfaces. The cabinet's unique hidden closing mechanism maximizes storage space and automatically closes doors in self-close styles, with fusible links that melt at 165°F (74°C) to shut the doors in the event of a fire. Wall-mount style has a shallow depth for organized storage of over 100 aerosol cans and other small containers, and the unit comes complete with mounting hardware. This cabinet is compliant with OSHA and NFPA standards and is backed by Justrite's ten-year warranty.
