The Valley Craft® skid steer attachment is designed to assist operators in handling drums and other cylinders at reclamation areas, construction landfills, and various locations where drums and skid-steer loaders are utilized. This attachment features a hydraulic clamping and dumping mechanism for drums with diameters ranging from 18 to 28 inches, ensuring constant hydraulic pressure for secure load handling, making it especially suitable for salvage operations. Included components consist of rubber-lined jaws, hoses, and standard 1/2" quick couplers. The unit allows for continuous 360-degree rotation of drums in either direction, facilitated by dual hydraulic functions that enable clamping and rotation directly from the operator's seat. The skid-steer attachment is equipped with a standard set of jaws that are compatible with virtually any type of drum or cylinder. Additionally, it comes with a 1-year limited warranty. The universal back plate is designed for Case and Bobcat® skid-steer loaders but can be adapted upon request for other mount-in-frame types from different brands. Its top flange is engineered into a step with a non-slip safety strip for enhanced safety and convenience.
