It offers an expanded cutting capacity with a 14-inch horizontal capacity, a 6-1/2-inch vertical capacity against the fence, and a 6-1/2-inch crown capacity against the fence at a 45-degree spring. The saw is equipped with upfront bevel controls, featuring an all-metal bevel lock lever and range selector for quick and easy adjustments. The high-precision SquareLock™ quick-release fences align at 90 degrees to the table without the need for adjustments and include a one-touch lock/unlock mechanism for sliding the fence. With integrated expanding base extensions, it provides 60% more left-to-right material support than leading competitors, reaching 40 inches. The large, easy-to-read uniform bevel and stainless steel miter scales allow for a 52-degree left and 60-degree right miter capacity, along with a 47-degree left and 47-degree right bevel capacity featuring marked detents and roof pitch angles. It also includes adjustable miter detents at 0°, 15°, 31.6°, 22.5°, 45°, and 60° right, and a push-button miter detent override for fine angle adjustments.
