The Bosch ROS20VSK is a 5-inch random orbit sander kit designed for efficient sanding and dust management. It features a no-load oscillations per minute (OPM) range of 7500 to 12000, ensuring optimal performance. The twist-off dust canister is durable and compact, showing dust levels and easily detaching for quick maintenance. The Bosch Microfilter system is included to filter fine dust, trapping particles as small as 1/2 micron in diameter. The Hook-Tight™ hook-and-loop disc attachment uses over 35,000 long-life hooks to ensure a firm grip on sanding discs, which is up to twice the standard number of hooks. The sander employs random orbit sanding action, combining pad orbit and rotation for a well-blended, ultra-smooth finish with a fast removal rate. A soft microcellular backing pad provides pliability to ensure a smooth finish on various surfaces. The integral pad dampening system helps prevent swirl marks, while the variable-speed dial allows users to match speed to specific workpieces and tasks. For user comfort, the design includes a comfortable soft-grip top and body with multiple grip positions to prevent hand fatigue, a low-vibration design for smooth running, and an anti-spillback canister design to minimize dust spillback into the sander.
