The Genie® SI-0564 Turbomix attachment is designed to enhance the capabilities of most existing Vortex-Genie 2 family of mixers and the Vortex-Genie Pulse, offering a pack of 1 attachment. This patented device enables extremely vigorous mixing of up to twelve 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL microtubes, whether they are snap-top or screw-cap, through a unique method that combines vortexing and impact collision. It is particularly suitable for aggressive and rapid dissolution, resuspension, and mixing of samples, making it an effective tool for cell disruption in glass bead procedures. The Turbomix attachment is specifically compatible with Vortex-Genie 2 models and features a holder for 12 tubes.
