It features ball bearing construction that maximizes gripping force and drilling accuracy, while the jaws are center-ground for absolute straightness and alignment. Specially treated jaws ensure extended thread life and high gripping surface hardness. The design includes a one-piece sleeve that eliminates cracks between driving teeth, which are often found in other designs. Through-hardened sleeve teeth, along with hardened nose and keyholes, provide outstanding wear resistance. The chuck includes a fluted sleeve as standard and is 100% inspected for performance and precision.
