The HL7 focusing headlamp features adjustable focus and light dimming functions, incorporating Coast's Pure Beam Focusing Optic System to enhance usable light output. The headlamp offers a maximum beam distance of 109 meters (357 feet) with a Bulls Eye spot beam pattern that provides a focused spot while producing an outer ring of flood light for increased side vision. It includes a larger power switch and an easier-to-grip focusing bezel, enabling simple operation even when wearing gloves. The dimming function allows the user to adjust light output to suitable levels for various applications. For durability, the headlamp comes with an expandable Z-cord built into the headband to minimize snagging, and it has been tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards. It features an unbreakable LED and is impact and water resistant.
