The Zurn Z-1184 solids interceptor is engineered to effectively recover various types of solids, including precious metal particles, Toplaster, clay, and similar materials, utilizing the principle of gravity separation. This unit captures particles of differing sizes and weights within a removable bucket. The wastewater enters through the inlet piping and flows into the bucket, passing through a screen before proceeding into the main body chamber, ultimately exiting the interceptor to the sanitary drain system.
