These motors are designed for general purpose use, making them suitable for applications such as compressors, pumps, fans, conveyors, material handling, and machine tools. Key features of the motors include heavy-duty frames, ball bearings, moisture-resistant ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) technology, copper windings, and low-loss electrical lamination grade steel. The motors come with a three-year warranty and are suitable for applications requiring continuous or frequent duty. Super-E motors are specifically engineered to conserve energy over extended time periods and are inverter rated per NEMA MG1 part 31.4.4.2. They provide suitable performance for variable torque applications and offer a 20:1 constant torque speed range when paired with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives.
