The Baldor-Reliance 3-phase motor, model VEM3713T-5, features a power output of 15 HP and operates at 3500 RPM, housed in a 215TC frame with a C-face mount and designed as TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) with a voltage rating of 575 volts. This motor is part of a range that includes general-purpose 200-volt motors, available from 1 HP to 50 HP in TEFC and 1 HP to 100 HP in ODP (Open Drip Proof), alongside an extensive line of 575-volt options including general purpose TEFC and ODP, washdown, severe duty, IEEE-841, explosion proof, and close-coupled pump designs in various mounting configurations. The motor features heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, ball bearings, ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings, and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel. It is designed for applications requiring continuous or frequent duty, and Super-E motors are built to conserve energy over extended periods. The motor is equipped with Class F insulation, a 1.15 service factor, and is inverter rated per NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2, making it suitable for variable torque applications and constant torque speed ranges with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives.
