Severe duty motors are available from 1 HP to 700 HP, specifically designed to protect against extreme environmental operating conditions, making them suitable for applications in petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, rock crushers, and chemical plants. These motors feature a built to 841XL design, enhanced electrical and mechanical design with NEMA Premium® efficient winding, Inpro/Seal® VBX (through 210 frame), and VBXX bearing isolators on fan and drive end shaft extensions. An epoxy paint provides an IP56 enclosure, while stainless breather drains and proprietary cast iron frames reduce vibration and noise. Additionally, terminal lugs on motor leads are included, and the motors come with a 5-year warranty. They are designed, manufactured, and tested to exceed IEEE 841-2001 TEFC motor standards for extreme severe duty service, making them ideal for industries requiring premium efficient motors.
