Baldor-Reliance's extensive line of general purpose motors are available in open drip-proof and TEFC construction in both single and three phase configurations, with horsepower sizes ranging from 1/12 HP to 1500 HP available from stock. These motors, designed for general purpose use, are suitable for applications including compressors, pumps, fans, conveyors, material handling, machine tools, and many others. Key features include heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, ball bearings, ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings, and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel. The motors are typically used in operations that require continuous or frequent duty, with Super-E motors designed to conserve energy over extended periods. They have Class F insulation, a 1.15 service factor, and are inverter rated per NEMA MG1 part 31.4.4.2, making them suitable for variable torque applications and a constant torque speed range when used with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives. The motors come with a three-year warranty.
