Some general purpose applications require a motor that runs on 200 volt power, with options available from 1 HP to 50 HP in TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) and 1 HP to 100 HP in ODP (Open Drip Proof). Additionally, there is an extensive line of 575 volt motors, which are offered in various configurations including general purpose TEFC and ODP, washdown, severe duty, IEEE-841, explosion proof, and close-coupled pump designs. These motors are equipped with ball bearings, suitable for mounting in any position, and constructed with heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames. They are designed for applications such as pumps, compressors, fans, conveyors, machine tools, and other scenarios where 575 volt three-phase power is available.
