Typical uses for these motors include petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper facilities, waste management operations, rock crushers, and chemical plants. These motors are engineered and tested to surpass the IEEE 841-1994 standards for severe duty TEFC induction motors, featuring premium efficiency copper windings made with Baldor-Realiance ISR (Inverter Spike Resistant)® magnet wire that meets CEE efficiency guidelines. Notable features include an Inpro Seal® on the fan and drive end shaft extensions, a two-part yellow epoxy oxide primer applied inside and outside, gray epoxy paint, and corrosion-resistant hardware. The motors also offer reduced noise, vibration, and mechanical tolerances, with final test and vibration results included with each shipment, ensuring compliance and reliability in demanding applications.
