The motor kit is designed for general purpose applications requiring 208-230/460 volt power, with options ranging from 1 HP to 50 HP in Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) configurations. An extensive line of 575 volt motors is also available, including designs for general purpose TEFC and Open Drip Proof (ODP), washdown, severe duty, IEEE 841, explosion proof, and close-coupled pumps, all offered in various mounting configurations. Key attributes include heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, ball bearings, ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings, and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel. The motors are class F insulated with a 1.15 service factor and are inverter rated per NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2, making them suitable for variable torque applications as well as constant torque speed ranges when paired with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives. The motors come with a three-year warranty, ensuring reliability and performance for operations requiring continuous or frequent duty, while the Super-E motors are specifically designed to conserve energy over extended periods.
