Baldor-Reaction's washdown duty motors are designed for both single and three-phase AC as well as DC configurations, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish and come in paint-free designs with major components constructed from 300 series stainless steel, including models that are entirely stainless steel. They are suitable for applications in food processing, packaging, and pharmaceuticals, particularly in environments where motors are frequently exposed to high-pressure washdowns. The motors come equipped with provisions for HS25 and HS35 encoder feedback mounting, facilitating their use with closed-loop velocity or position motor controls. They comply with NEMA MG 1, part 31 standards and are ideal for conveyors, pumps, and other equipment requiring adjustable speed in severe environments without the need for full torque at zero speed.
