Baldor-Reliance's extensive line of general purpose motors is available in open drip-proof and TEFC construction, suitable for both single and three phase systems, with horsepower sizes ranging from 1/12 HP through 1500 HP. These motors are designed for general purpose applications, including compressors, pumps, fans, conveyors, material handling, and machine tools. Key features include heavy duty frames, ball bearings, moisture resistant ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant), copper windings, and low-loss electrical lamination grade steel. The motors come with a three-year warranty. They are suitable for operations requiring continuous or frequent duty, and the Super-E motors are designed to conserve energy over extended periods. These motors are inverter rated per NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2 and are suitable for variable torque applications with a 20:1 constant torque speed range when used with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives.
