Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available in stock in single and three phase AC and DC designs, with horsepower ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, with major components constructed from 300 series stainless steel and options for all stainless steel designs. Key attributes include all external surfaces made of 300 series stainless steel, moisture resistant 200°C ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, and four condensate drains in each endplate. The endplate rabbets are sealed and the conduit box is gasketed, while lip seals are designed to perform effectively in highly corrosive environments where paint or other finishes may fail. These motors are suitable for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and other environments where regular exposure to high pressure wash down occurs.
