Baldor-Reliance's line of brake motors includes options in totally enclosed fan cooled, open drip proof, and explosion proof designs, available in both single and three-phase configurations, with stock ratings ranging from 1/4 HP to 30 HP. These motors are equipped with a mechanical spring set brake featuring power off operation and a manual release, which resets automatically. The brakes are internally connected to the motor on 215T and smaller. These brake motors are suitable for various applications including machine tools, conveyors, door operators, speed reducers, and any application that requires quick stops and positive holds.
