Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available in both single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish and are designed with major components made of 300 series stainless steel, as well as options for all-stainless steel construction. These motors are ideal for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and any scenario where the motors are frequently exposed to high-pressure washdowns. Key features include moisture-resistant ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) 200°C magnet wire, sealed ball bearings with moisture-resistant grease, contact lip seals on shaft extensions, neoprene gaskets, specially processed cast endplates, and a 300 series stainless steel motor frame, base, shaft, and hardware, ensuring there is no exterior paint and that the motors are tropicalized. The motors are designed to withstand severe environments where regular washing is required.
